Joey Dee Berry

Joey was born on January 19, 1968, to the proud parents David B. Berry and Velva Jo Berry, of Pasadena, Texas. He graduated from Sam Rayburn High School and worked at United Safety. Joey celebrated his faith at Golden Acres Baptist Church and was a very kind and gentle soul, having a loving and generous heart.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished and celebrated by his parents David and Velva; sons Ethan Wayne Berry and Murphy Augustus Berry; daughter Alexandra Denise Stoffers and husband Travis; sister Lisa Ann Davis and husband Miles; sister Dana Lyn Berry; nephew John David Alexander and grandchildren Destiny and Leo Stoffers. He is loved and will be missed by numerous other family and friends.

Spending time with his children were Joey’s passion and joy. Joey was happiest fishing and camping with his sons, Ethan and Murphy. He was an avid reader of western books and enjoyed cooking, especially for large groups of people.

Friends and relatives are invited and may call at the Grand View Funeral Home Thursday, April 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The memorial service will be held Friday, April 24th at 2:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home, Pasadena, Texas at 8501 Spencer Highway. Burial will follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
