On January 25th 2021, Heaven’s Gates opened and received the soul of our brother Marco A. Hernandez. Our brother was the ninth (9) child born to the late Nicholas Hernandez and Elvira Carmona-Hernandez on October 7, 1964 in Mexico City, Mexico. Marco attended School in Mexico where he graduated
Marco, or Abluelo (as we like to call him), was such a fun spirit & also, he was a huge dancer! Everywhere he went a dancing train was sure to follow . He loved dancing so much everyone wanted him to teach them! He began teaching a dance class for Quincenera’s. He loved spending time with family and friends . He made so many friends through his journey . He was so kind, loving, and had the biggest heart you’ve ever seen.He decided he wanted to do more so he began his journey from Mexico to the United States! His first stop was California where he worked at a beauty salon, then moved to Florida where he also worked at a beauty salon, & finally Houston, where he decided to call home! Marco really put down his roots as he began working in a beauty shop with friends. He decided that wasn’t enough so he and his sister Leticia teamed up and opened a very successful beauty salon called 3 Hispanos where he worked faithfully until his untimely death.
Leaving to cherish his memories (9) Nine Sisters: Romona of Cancun, Mexico, Mercedez, Josefina, LuzMaria, Maricela, Cruz , Elvira- (Salvador) of Mexico city, Mexico, Antonia of Lakewood, California, Leticia -(Carlos ) of Houston, Texas (3) Three Brother Miguel - (Angelina ) Martin -( Christina) of Mexico City, Luis -(Banessa) of Houston, Texas ; lastly A very special Nephew Max (who he took under his wing & he considered to be his own )of Houston, Texas and host of Nieces , Nephews , cousins and loyal friends.
