Mary Joanne Holt

Mary Joanne Holt, 81, of Pasadena, TX passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. She was born in Gulfport, MS on January 26, 1937 to Robert Hennis and Velma Jewell Hill. She was married to Jack A. Holt for 60 years. Joanne worked many years in Management for Eckerd Drugs. She was a Board Member for “Let Him Handle It” a local cancer charity and had a passion for cats, traveling and drawing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hennis and Velma Jewell Hill; sisters, Velma Ruth Seavy and Catherine LaRue Tuttle; brothers, Harold G. Hennis and Robert E. Hennis. She is survived by her husband, Jack Allen Holt; daughters, Donna Smith and husband Alan, Kimberly Gonzales and husband Adam; son, Michael Holt and wife Alicia; grandchildren, Christopher A. Gonzales and fiancé, Alexandra De Hoyos, Derek A. Smith, Cory A. Gonzales and wife Lisa, Adam C. Gonzales and Michael A. Holt, Jr; great grandson, Christopher Gonzales, Jr. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX 77502. Joanne’s Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 5:00pm in the Chapel of Pasadena Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to The American Heart Association.
