Rosa Olivares Flores

Rosa Olivares Flores, age 82, of Pasadena, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 16th, 2023. Rosa was born August 30, 1940 in Matamoros, Mexico. Rosa loved her family very much and took great pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren, she loved listening to Elvis, watching Gunsmoke, cartoons, playing bingo and going to the casino. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her sons David Flores, Richard Flores, and Steven Flores and wife Christie; her grandchildren, Kailum Paul Flores and wife Chelsea, Alyssa Marie Flores, Trevin Jacob Flores and her great grandchildren Elija Jay Arredondo and Lyla Elaine Flores; siblings Concepcion O. Guerrero, Ramiro Olivares, Ignacia Olivares, Eva O. Leija and Noemi O. Castillo. “Rosa" is preceded in death by her parents, Abelardo Olivares and Esperanza R. Olivares; her loving husband of 60 years, Francisco Flores; 5 siblings, Guadalupe Olivares, Maria Reyes O. Cortinas, Abelardo Jr. Olivares, Ciro Olivares and Alfonso Olivares.

A visitation for Rosa will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 901 Main, Pasadena, TX 77506. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Funeraria del Angel, 901 Main St, Pasadena, Texas 77506. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
