William Louis Socie

William Louis Socie, known to family and friends as Bill Socie or Paw-Pawl to his grandkids, was born in Youngstown, Ohio on September 22, 1958 to Joseph William Socie Sr and Della Agnes McGuinnes. Bill gained his wings on January 14, 2024. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Alicia Star Socie-Mandrell, his two sons, Adam Socie and Brandon William Socie, his grandchildren Krista, Cynthia, Coral, Alexandra, Andrew, Aubrey, Jeannie, Laura and George, his Great-grandson Henry, his siblings George Socie and Betty Jane Peek and his life partner Penny Wallett.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, his siblings Thelma (Skeetze) Peek, Arlene Motz, Theodore (Ted) Socie, Joseph (Joe) Socie Jr, Lois Drew and Mary (Peg) Safranic. Now, Bill has now joined his wife Jeanne L Socie for his final ride in the sky.

Bill loved several things in his life that included Harleys, riding his motorcycle, his children and grandchildren. He could not have been prouder of any of them. His face would light up when he spoke of them. His greatest joy was watching the grandkids grow.

He had a passion for helping those in need. From putting together benefits, motorcycle runs, to starting the local Pasadena Chapter of the Toys for Tots Motorcycle Run. This year marked 30 years of Toys for Tots and he could not have been prouder of what once started as a small group of friends that has turned into such a blessing for so many in need.

The family would like to thank each of you for being here to show your love for him and to support his family.

A memorial service for William will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel, 901 Main, Pasadena, TX 77506.
