

Amy E. Terry 38 of Atascadero passed away on April 2, 2017. Amy was born in Van Nuys in the San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles, CA . Shortly after her birth her family moved to Coeur d Alene, Idaho where she spent her first eight years of life before moving to Paso Robles, CA. In Paso Robles, Amy attended Pleasant Valley School, Flamson Middle School and Paso Robles High School. Amy trained and received her care giver license and become an independent caregiver for elderly and all others she could help.
At age 24, Amy gave birth to her daughter Emily and there has never been a more loving mother. Amy lived for Emily. From Emily: Amy Terry was an amazing woman that always did everything in her power to help and inspire others around her. She loved each and every person she became close to, especially her daughter. Amy was an extremely strong individual in always helping others as well as dealing with health problems. She was defiantly the most inspirational loving strong person I knew. She taught me, along with others, to cherish and love even the most stressful days. She touched so many people hearts and will never be forgotten. . .Love you Mom.
Amy continued to care for elderly clients while attending Cuesta College to achieve her RN degree. She obtained perfect grades as well, and most importantly, continued to raise and care for her daughter Emily.
Amy became ill in 2002 and could not continue her education but no matter how bad she felt, she always put her daughter Emily first. She always had love and a smile for everybody in her life.
Amy lived the last years of her life in Atascadero and had many friends there. Her favorite place was the ocean and loved to go there as often as possible.
Amy would lift up everyone. She met with her smile and laugh. Amy will be missed by everybody that knew her, especially her smile.
Amy is survived by her father: Kent Terry and her step-mother: Joy Miller both of San Miguel, CA. brother: Casey Terry of Bakersfield, CA and her beloved daughter: Emily Elaine Terry.
