Dick was like a brother to me.  My actual brother Bill Jardine  and the two Parlet boys, Dick and Frank spent a lot of years together working cattle, driving tractors and grain harvesters. We would spend late summer evenings cruising the back roads of my Grandfather Bob Peri’s ranch hunting blacktail bucks, wild hogs and even Jack rabbits.  The 4 of us more or less grew up together.  Dick always had a great smile and loved to share a good joke.  Those who really knew Dick loved him.  He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of spending time with him.

My family and I have known Dick for 20 years. I was fortunate enough to spend time with him .. branding, hunting, house projects, trucks, jeeps .  I watched him play a huge part in my niece and nephews life. Grandpa Dick was always there for them and for me. He loved them more than anything. Dick was always one to make you laugh.  I loved stopping by and talking about my week in the kitchen. He always addressed me as “ well howdy young man”… “ you take care of your niece and nephew for me”. The stories he would tell … He was always the first to offer help if you needed it. He will be truly missed. 

Man, you will be missed. I know it has been ages since I last saw you but you always made me smile and laugh. You had that spark in your eyes and that twinkle. Rest in peace. 

Rest In Peace Dicky, going to miss you damn dude you were always so feisty but always a GREAT Friend...
