

Erminia Morones It is with heavy hearts that the family of Erminia Estrada Morones announces her passing. Erminia, 86, of Paso Robles went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 22, 2018, with her family by her side. A Rosary Service and viewing will be held at Mission San Miguel on Thursday, March 1st. The viewing begins at 5:00 p.m. followed by the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Mission San Miguel. The burial will follow at Paso Robles Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Erminia's life immediately after the burial at Vintage Ranch, 4210 Oak Flat Road, Paso Robles CA. Born August 15, 1931, in Tracy, California, she is predeceased by her parents, Viviana and Bardomiano Estrada; daughter, Diane Morones; and son, Edward Morones. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Lazaro G. Morones; along with her three sons: Paul, Lazaro and Gene Morones; four daughters: Monica Martin, Carolina Harden, Ermie Morones, and Jennifer Morris; as well as 23 grand- children; and 24 great-grand- children. As a young child Erminia was raised in Lompoc, California and the surrounding Santa Maria area prior to moving to Paso Robles where she met her future husband, Lazaro G. Morones. Lazaro and Erminia were married on July 14, 1951, and had nine children. Erminia's life was filled with being a loving mother, an active grandmother, and a beloved sister. Erminia's many interests included gardening, with a special love of roses which she cherished her whole life. An active and devout member of the Catholic Church in both Paso Robles and San Miguel, her life was grounded in her faith. She was a member of the Third Order of Secular Franciscans.
