Frances Olive Wilson

Frances O. Wilson 95, a lifelong resident of Templeton passed away at Vineyard Hills Health Center on September 23, 2015. Frances was born March of 1920 in San Luis Obispo to Joseph Ralph Nance and Grace Johnson Nance, shortly returning to Templeton. Frances was a graduate of Templeton High School. She married her high school sweetheart Harrison Wilson. They were married for 66 years and raised their family in the same home Harrison was raised in the El Pomar community. Frances was loved by all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Frances is survived by her sons Michael (Gaylon) and Henry of Santa Maria, CA; granddaughters Cynthia and Kimberly; great-grandson Brandon and his father Michael Simonds. Frances is preceded in death by her husband Harrison and her brother Ralph E. Nance of Los Osos.

At the present time Wilson Ranches Inc. consists of a cow-calf operation and vineyard. Ranch will continue under ownership and management by her son Michael and great-grandson Brandon.

A funeral service will be held at the Templeton Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a graveside at Templeton Cemetery District.
