Patricia Holland Bagby

Patricia (Pat) Bagby passed away in Atascadero, CA on Feb 7, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born on Jan 2, 1935 in San Jose, CA to Vernon and Irene Holland. Pat was raised in Salinas, CA where she attended school, eventually receiving an Associate of Arts degree from Hartnell College. During that time she met and married her husband of 61 years, Robert (Bob) Bagby.

Pat was the city girl who became the rancher's wife. Their life began in San Luis Obispo while Bob attended Cal Poly and on to Hidden Valley Ranch, San Miguel. They relocated to Eagle Pass, TX and finally settled in Paso Robles where she has resided for the last 48 years. Along this journey, they welcomed 4 children; Karen, Cindy (Craig), Mark (Randy) and Robby (Lori). She raised her children well, instilling in them kindness, love and friendship for each other. They were her pride and joy.

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren who meant the world to her. Elise, Emily, Hannah and William Peltzer, Bayley Bagby, Tracy Titus and Max Bagby. Great grandchildren Rian, Leah and Quint Titus.

Pat's love for children extended outside of her own family. She was instrumental in creating the Childrens' Library in Eagle Pass, TX while being a part-time teacher. Her most fulfilling venture was her involvement in Amigos De Los Ninos, a non-profit organization that supported children's issues including educational advancement opportunites. She was also involved in Republican Women's Club.

Pat was preceeded in death by her parents, husband Bob, sister Janice McFarlin, grandson Jake Gearhart.

A Memorial Service for Pat is scheduled on Friday, Feb 16th at 10:00 at Atascadero Bible Church, 6225 Atascadero Ave, Atascadero, CA 93422
