Sonny Pitts

Throughout his life, Sonny worked for several car dealerships and detailing businesses, where he washed and detailed cars. He was well respected by both his employers and coworkers for his strong work ethic and kind spirit.

Sonny was a faithful member of New Light Baptist Church in Paso Robles, California, serving under the leadership of Pastor Cecil Parish, Pastor George Lartique, and Pastor/Chaplain Kenneth Parish. He was always helpful, humble, and willing to do whatever he could around the church. Sonny loved to sing, and whenever he was asked to lead devotion, his favorite song was always "This Little Light of Mine."

Sonny enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing and taking occasional trips to Laughlin, Las Vegas, and Lake Tahoe.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory two daughters, Rubilene Anderson of Elk Grove, California, and Wanda Burrell (Dan) of Shandon, California; along with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and many dear friends.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, McKinley Pitts and Hester Pitts, and his son Huria Pitts Jr.

Sonny's kindness, faith, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
