Carrie’s life on earth was not always easy. She was stuck in a body that had many limitations. However, anyone who took the time to get to know Carrie will tell you that she was such a remarkable person. Carrie loved the simple things in life. Swing on the porchswing, eating ice cream, and listening to music… she truly loved her music! She was a carefree spirit who lived life with a boundless joy that radiated from her. Her sweet disposition and brilliant smile could light up any room she entered. Carrie was not just a blessing who brought love and joy to our lives; she was blessed to constantly be surrounded by wonderful caregivers and family who loved and cherished her exactly as she was. While we are sad she is no longer with us, our hearts are full knowing she has broken free of this body and is dancing through heaven with her new wings.
Carrie is preceded in death by her parents, George and Sandra (Lawhorn) Bobst; her brother Scott Bobst; grandparents George and Margaret (Westerwiller) Bobst, and Carl and Wanda (Mitchell) Lawhorn. She is survived by her nephew Scott Bobst II; aunts and uncles, Maurita Tanzillo, Carl (Karen) Lawhorn, Angela (Michael) Douridas, Debra Flowers, Michael (Karen) Lawhorn, Lonnie (Susan) Lawhorn, Terry Hobbs, Carrie (Ted) Smith, and numerous cousins.
