Gary Lee Black “Burl”, age 58, passed away on October 20, 2016, at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH. Gary was born on June 1, 1958 in Newark, OH, a son to Alva and Vernice Black. He is survived by his son, Kyle; step-daughter, Amber; grandchildren, Khloe and Xavier; mother, Vernice; brother, Larry (Melanie); sister, Debbie (Fred) Skinner; uncle, Wesley Arledge; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Gary is preceded in death by his father, Alva; brother, Ray; cousin Nib and his grandparents. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Rocky Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
