A Funeral Service for Gary Paris, age 60 of Newark, will be held Saturday November 23, 2013 at the Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Pataskala at 3:00 PM with Mike Parsley officiating. Entombment will be in Peninsula Ohio at the Northlawn Memory Gardens.
Gary was born in Warren Ohio to the late George and Eleanor (Hathaway) Paris on December 21, 1952. He died on November 17, 2013 in Newark, Ohio. .
He is survived by his daughter Lyndsey (Eric Macur) Paris of Florida, brother George (Sandra) Paris, his sister Linda (Craig) Kodat; nephews Jason, Brent, Kevin, Brandon, and his best buddy Christopher; great-niece Hannah and great nephews Kyle and Carson, and many special friends from the Newark area.
Gary had a knack for quick witty sayings, loved superman and was fond of midnight trips to the freezer for ice cream, his favorite snack.
Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to the Licking County Food Pantry in his memory
