Gloria Anita Dickason

In 1954, Gloria married Bing C. Dickason (deceased) and is survived by their two children: Ted E. Dickason (DeDe) of Midland, North Carolina and Nancy S. (Dickason) Gero (Edward) of Pataskala, Ohio, five grandchildren: Jon and Savannah Dickason and Eddie, Jacob and Hannah Gero, and one great grandchild: Ainsley Claire Gero.

Gloria’s surviving siblings include: Charlotte M. Walters (Lee), Carol R. Cole (Steve), and Jerry L. Ganson (Carol). Her sisters Beverly D. Elam, Julie L. Seigfried, and Diana S. Miers are deceased.

Gloria worked for 20 years as the Administrative Clerk for the Marion County Commissioners, retiring in 2002. Previous to that she was Green Camp Village Clerk for 21 years and was Secretary at Green Camp School for six years.

Gloria was a long time member of the Former Green Camp Baptist Church and present member of Tri Village Christian Church. She was a lifetime member of the Marion County Historical Society. Gloria’s hobbies were beading and making jewelry, but her greatest love and joy was being with her children and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 30 at Tri Village Christian Church in Pataskala with visitation beginning at 10:00 am and the funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm at the Green Camp Cemetery in Green Camp, Ohio.
