Howard E. Gale

Howard Edwin Gale, 76, of Pataskala, passed away on April 29, 2019 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born on September 18, 1942 in Delaware, OH, a son to the late Howard Leslie and Anna Marie (Reese) Gale. Howard loved to fish, hunt and travel. He was devoted to his wife and family. Howard is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sue; children, Teresa Garvey, Martin (Shannon) Gale and Shawn (Jessica) Gale; grandchildren, Crystal (Keshia), Alicia, Brian “Bo”, Ambur (Alex), Cody (Tiffany), Jacob, Olivia, Brandie (Jay), Amber (Billy), Peggy, Buddy, Andrew, Caitlyn, Nicholas, Clare, Emma and Delaney; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters, Violet Jean Rutledge and Virginia Raines; many nieces and nephews and extended family members, Paul, Paula (Larry), Brian Garvey, Dan (Kris) and Carl (Anne) King. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, William (Sarah) Gale and brother-in-law, Damon “Carroll” Rutledge. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289, S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Honoring the family wishes cremation will follow services.
