I just wanted to send hugs to all of Joanie's loved ones. I live (with my family and 2 pups) in the house next door to Joanie's, and when her health started failing a few years ago, I would send a message to check in on her every few weeks or so. She always was up for a laugh and eager to talk about her 2 fur babies! Our pups also loved Frazier and Sammy, and would chat with them regularly via the gap under the fence. We already miss Joanie (and her sweet pups). Peace to all of you during this holiday season.

I worked with Joanie at Westinghouse in Sharon Pa around 1965 and she then left to become a nurse. We were very good friends and so sorry to hear of her passing. Thank you so much for sharing that news.

Working with you at Campus hemodialysis is such a happy memory. You were a kind, intelligent, funny voice of reason in a sometimes chaotic atmosphere.
