Joanne Rogers

Joanne Marilyn Rogers, 87 of Pataskala, OH, died at 3:05 pm, Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala. She was born April 17, 1928 in Worthington, Ohio to Paul and Violet Hurlburt. Joanne was a long time resident of Pataskala. She graduated from Alexandria High School in 1946. She was a free spirit who lived life to its fullest and loved to travel, moving from Ohio to Florida in 1967 and then back to Ohio in 1973. She has been a resident at Tuscany Gardens since April of 2014.

She is survived by her two sons, Warren Schivley and Mark Schivley; five sisters, Jackie Hurlburt, Patty Nichols, Phyllis Green, Donna Riser and Janet Gaskill; two brothers, Lewis Hurlburt and Eugene Hurlburt; six grandchildren, Tanya Hatley, Lisa Hendrix, Greg Schivley, Kelsey Apton, Meagan Schivley and Thomas Schivley; five great grandchildren, Cori Hatley, MacKenzie Hatley, Aiden Schivley, Dayanara Apton and Connor Apton

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Violet Hurlburt; sisters, Pauline Mashburn of Jacksonville, FL and Judy Detty of Old Hickory, TN and her oldest son, Russell Schivley.

Friends may call at the Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home Sunday from 1-5 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11 am in the Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Snoddy officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
