Joe Clyburn Jr.

Joe McCallan Clyburn Jr. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday January 5, 2022 at his home in Pataskala, Ohio at age 56. Born in Columbus, Ohio on April 7, 1965 to Joe Clyburn Sr. and Freda (McClure) Clyburn. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Lori, Daughter Haley, Father Joe Sr, and younger Brother Shannon. Joe was a lifelong resident of Pataskala, Ohio and a 25-year member of the Tri-Village Christian Church. Joe was also a 25-year employee of Crown, Cork, and Seal where he can best be described by his peers as a loyal husband, father, son, leader, employee, and friend. Prior to working for Crown, Cork, and Seal, Joe was previously employed as a machinist for Rockwell International, Boeing, and McDonnell Douglas aircraft. Some of Joe’s hobbies include traveling, eating out, hiking, board games, and spending time with friends and family. Joe’s greatest passion however was flying, and he held a commercial pilot license and was a flight instructor for many years. Joe believed in living life to the fullest and he will best be remembered for his funny sense of humor, storytelling, and wittiness. Joe never knew a stranger and was a friend to everyone and he was always available to lend a helping hand and a warm smile. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Joe was preceded in death by Grandparents Ray and Agnes McClure, Roscoe and Rose Clyburn, and Mother Freda Clyburn.

Services will be held at the Tri-Village Christian Church 7509 E. Broad St. SW, Pataskala, Ohio 43062. Calling hours will be held on Thursday January 13, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on January 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Flower maybe purchased through Griffin’s Floral Design 378 E.
