John “Jef” Edwin Feil, 63, of Pataskala, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born on October 16, 1952 in Columbus, OH, a son to the late Edwin and Dorothy Feil. Jef is survived by his loving wife, Diane; children, Edwin (Samantha) and Justin; step-children, Tony and Allison; grandchildren, Audri, Emma, Lila and Mary; sisters, Sue and Mary Lou and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Nancy and cousin, Jimbo. A memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062 with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, P.O. Drawer 498, Emmitsburg, MD 21727, in Jef’s memory.
