Joseph “Joe” Ray Velde, 79, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born June 3, 1944 in Middletown Ohio to the late Joseph and Helen Velde. Joe loved being retired, tending to his yard, collecting old cars, going fishing, and more than anything else; he loved spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Mae Velde; children Katie (Dustin) Epperson and Joseph Ray Velde Jr.; grandchildren Hayden, Logan, Braylee, and Owen Epperson; siblings Carol Molbey, Janet Murphy, and David (Diane) Velde; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by his brothers Ronny, Jerry, and Tommy Velde.
