

Lester “Leck” Pinson, 86, of Pataskala, OH passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family members on Saturday, May 7, 2011. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 11 at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH with Rev. William Hunt officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, OH.
Lester was born on October 6, 1924 in Sciotoville, OH to the late Ernest and Hester (Pratt) Pinson. Lester worked for the Diamond Milk Company for 25 years without an accident. However, his passion was farming. For years he raised and sold beef cattle. He enjoyed each evening sitting in his lounge chair while his wife played the organ for him until he fell asleep. They had a song they sang each night that ended in “You dream of me and I’ll dream of you.” Lester was getting ready to plant his beans when the Lord called him home. He was much loved and will be sadly missed by his whole family.
Lester is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Christine Pinson, his daughter Cheryl Pinson of Nicholasville, KY., grandchildren; Gina (Kenneth) Brown, of Cincinnati, OH., Tara (Dean) Welch , Ashley (Karen) Yost all of Nicholasville, KY., great grandchildren, Ethan Brown, Bethany Welch and Karley Yost, brother Raymond (Curline) Pinson, sister Nora (Robert) Fenton, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ruth and Ellis Williams, along with many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Lester is preceded in death by his sisters; Charlotte Lemon, Dorothy Steiger, brothers; Orville, Jay and Ernest Pinson, Jr.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home.
