Mary Ann Elizabeth Darst

Mary Ann Elizabeth Darst, 93, of Pataskala, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at her residence. She was born on February 4, 1932 in South Bend, IN, a daughter to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Oros) Lorencz. Mary Ann is survived by her children, Victoria (Stephen) Smith, Gary (Jeanne) Darst, Suzanne (David) DiPietro and Richard Darst; grandchildren, Angelina (Giles) Kennedy, Dale (Rami Ibrahim) Swank, Tiffany (Kyle) Collins, Jason (Michelle) DiPietro; great-grandchildren, Kristopher (Lauren) McKee, Crystal (T.J.) Kinser, Emmaline DiPietro, Emerick DiPietro, Weston Lorenz, Kallum Collins; great-great-grandchildren, Riley McKee, Bryce McKee, Chloe Kinser, Cami Kinser and Cora Kinser; brother, Joseph (Carolyn) Lorencz; pet companion, Tink and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Vernal “Doc” W. Darst and sister, Dolores McKenna. Friends may call from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Jersey Cemetery.
