

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melony Mae Miller, 67, on December 23, 2024, after bravely battling cancer. Melony was a boisterous personality who cherished spending time with her family who will miss the unmistakable sound of her laughter.
Melony was born on September 6, 1957, to Phyllis and Norman Mullins. She grew up with her siblings in Clintonville Ohio where she attended Whetstone High School.
Melony put herself through school while working as a single mother. She went on to raise 3 more children with her former spouse, Rick Miller, while also working in their family business, Miller and Son Plumbing. She later went to nursing school and devoted herself to caring for patients in home healthcare.
Melony had a natural way of connecting with everyone she met – she could carry on a conversation with anyone! She went above and beyond to get to know her patients and their families, which provided comfort and put them at ease.
Melony is survived by her children, Jason (Katie) Marks, Zachery Miller, Nicholas (Jordan) Miller, and Madalyn (Jake) Torrens; her grandchildren, Jasey & Jack Torrens, Lelia Marks, and Bodie Miller; her mother, Phyllis Mullins; her siblings, Kimberly (Daniel) Finnerty, Vincent (Mary) Mullins and Jeffrey Mullins; Her cherished nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Mullins and sister, Christie Mullins.
Visiting hours are Saturday, December 28 from 11am-1 pm with service immediately following. Located at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 289 S Main St, Pataskala, OH 43062. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Although Melony is no longer with us, her legacy of laughter and compassion will live on.
