Robert Wayne Hutchinson

Robert Wayne Hutchinson, age 75, of Granville, Ohio, passed away on March 9, at home after a long courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was born April 9, 1939 in Lockbourne, Ohio to James (Fred) and Evelyn (Case) Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Betty White, James Hutchinson, and LaRue Macioci.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Virginia (Leonard) Hutchinson, Brother Bill Hutchinson and Sister Donna Sue Alexandria as well as his children Jeff (Lynn) Hutchinson, Gary (Carol) Hutchinson, Debra Hutchinson(Perry Cumberledge) & Becky (Bud)(Hutchinson) Drake, and Grandchildren Lauren(Tom) Hutchinson-Davis, Nicole Drake, Scott Hutchinson, Camila Hutchinson, Christina Hutchinson, Clarissa Hutchinson.

Robert owned and operated Ohio Pole Building Company for 50 years, establishing many repeat customers and loyal vendor relationships. He cultivated a diverse customer base that included work in agriculture, commercial & domestic spheres with customized solutions. Robert enjoyed supporting his agricultural customers by supporting their youth with their 4H and FFA projects.

Viewing will be held at Jersey Baptist Church on Thursday March 12th, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 to 8:00pm at 13260 Morse Road Pataskala, OH 43062. The Funeral Service will be held at Jersey Baptist Church on Friday the 13th at 10:00 am with interment following at Floral Hills Memory Gardens 351 Coon Path Road NE Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
