Sumer Leigh Tanzillo

Sumer Leigh Tanzillo, 35, of Ashland, KY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 17, 2026 in a motorcycle accident. She was born on April 23, 1991 in Westerville, OH. Sumer is survived by her children, Karson, Kathryn, Brooklyn, Scarlett, Danielle Sumer and Ryder; parents, Mark (Hollie) Tanzillo and Stephanie (Paul) Parks; siblings, Jordan, Logan, Prestyn, Maddox, Frank and Cooper; grandparents, Maurita “Rita” Tanzillo, Daniel (Patty) Riedel, Nina (Virgil) Spires, Melvin Darst, Jan Riedel and Darlene Parks and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Sumer is preceded in death by her grandfather, Frank Tanzillo; grandparents, Roy “Pap” and Dot “Mam” Butler; uncles, Daniel Riedel and Looie Butler and Fiancé, Tyler Joseph. Family and friends may call from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Dunn officiating. Honoring the family and Sumer’s wishes, cremation will take place.
