Gloria Joan Peterson

Our Mama Gloria Joan Peterson, age 74 of Payette, formally of Nyssa took her final breath on this earth on Friday October 20, 2017 in Payette, ID. A Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday October 29, 2017 at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in Payette. Condolences may be made to Gloria’s family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Funeral services are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.

Born June 26th 1943 to Hyrum and Velda Bowers, she was one of eight children.

Gloria was a humble soul. Teacher of heart, a lover of babies, a friend and champion to animals and the very proud and loving wife of Dean Peterson form Nyssa, OR. Dean passed away on April 19th, who Mama couldn’t wait to be with again.

Gloria is survived by her four children, nine grandchildren, 11.5 great grandchildren, several of her own siblings, nephews, nieces, and as well as many others lucky enough to have known this genuinely good human being.

It was an honor to be the children of Gloria J. Peterson.

The very best we are, we owe to her.
