January 16, 1934 – February 26, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Captain Tise Eyler, U.S. Navy (Ret.), a devoted husband, patriot, and cherished member of the Peachtree City Rotary Club. Tise passed away on February 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and unwavering love for his country.
A proud graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Tise dedicated his life to the principles of duty and honor. His naval career took him across the East and West Coasts, with a tour in London, but no matter where his service led him, Georgia was always home.
After retiring, Tise was introduced to Rotary in Jekyll Island and later joined the Peachtree City Rotary Club on October 3, 2020. Though his time with the club was brief, his impact was immeasurable. Always eager to share stories of his service, he was a steadfast patriot who took great pride in leading heartfelt songs honoring the military and the nation he loved.
Tise will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Devy, and his family, who remain in our thoughts during this difficult time.
As we bid him farewell, we take comfort in the memories he leaves behind and are grateful for the time we shared with him and the lasting legacy of service he leaves behind for us to carry forward.
Fair winds and following seas, Captain. ⚓💙💛
