Claudia Sanchez-Chopko

Claudia Sanchez-Chopko, age 43, of Sharpsburg, GA passed away on June 29, 2014. She was born on May 7, 1971 in Santiago, Chile and moved to the USA in 2005. She received her Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Santiago in Chile. She worked in the HR Department at ESG Accounting Firm and formerly with PLY GEM in procurement and the HR Department. She is survived by her husband, of 8 years, Joe Chopko; son, Sebastian J. Chopko; daughter, Nyah Elizabeth Chopko; her parents, Inez Suarez and Jorge Sanchez; mother-in-law, Lillian Chopko; sister, Sandra Hill (Thomas) of Walden, NY; brother, Adolfo Sanchez of Santiago Chile; sister-in-law, Lori Connolly (John), and sister-in-law, Susan Catalano (Fred); several nieces and nephews; and some very special friends. There will be two visitations held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, one from 2-4pm and the other from 6-8pm. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 1:00pm at Cornerstone United Methodist Church of Sharpsburg, Newnan, GA with Pastor Rick Price and Pastor David Trott officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her Children’s Education/Child Care Fund.
