Mrs. Evelyn Kelso, 72, of Peachtree City, GA passed away October 3, 2018. Born on August 20, 1946 in Primghar, IA to the late Albert and Elizabeth Hanson. She grew up in Rock Rapids, IA. Graduated from Colorado State Teacher’s College. Evelyn taught school in China Lake, California, and Colorado Springs, CO. Married in 1971, she became a military wife, volunteer, and mom. She loved the Lord Jesus and shared his word with many people over the years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Elizabeth Hanson; and brother, James Hanson.
Survivors include her husband, James “Cuff” Kelso; and one son, Matt Kelso.
Funeral services will be held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:00pm with Pastor Steve Hale officiating. The family will visit from 1:00pm-2:00pm.
