

Born to Albert Gavett & Eddith Gavitt (Smith) on May 9, 1936 in Bangor, Maine. Jean was the oldest of seven siblings.
Jean loved her nursing career, hobbies were crocheting, gardening, playing card, hosting holidays, beach days, and above all she fiercely loved her family.
Preceding her in passing were her parents; her brothers, Jerry Paul Gavitt and Charlie Gavett; and sisters, Eddie Emory and Beverly Dunaway.
Jean is survived by her three loving children, Debbie DiGiulio, Denise Corbitt, and Sydney Graham II; siblings, William Gavitt and Linda Tisdol; grandchildren, (Debbie) James DiGiulio, Crystal Trammel, Kyle DiGiulio, Anthony DiGiulio, (Denise) Michael Corbitt, Cynthia Corbitt, (Sydney) Samantha Graham, Lucas Graham, Liam Graham;and great-grandchildren, (Debbie) Taylor & Logan Trammel, Elijah DiGiulio, Oaklynn & Braelynn DiGiulio, (Denise) Madison Corbitt, Destiny Corbitt, Annabelle Corbitt, Michael Jayce Corbitt, Matthew Bowen, and (Sydney) Carter Jenkins.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Jean will be on Friday, February 23, 2024 in the chapel at 6:00pm at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, 135 Senoia Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269. The family will gather with loved ones, after the service, until 8:00pm. All Family & Friends are welcome to attend.
