My mother was born with cerebral palsy. She could not walk without braces until she was seven years old. Doctors told the family she would / could not have children and it was unlikely she would ever graduate from school.
My mother proved them all wrong. She survived double pneumonia as a child. It came close to killing her. She has been a warrior all of her life.
My mother never let anything get her down. She possessed an indomitable spirit and was kind to everyone. What good qualities I have undoubtedly came from her. Her generous heart came from an authentic concern for others without need or want of praise from those she helped and cared for.
She is my hero and I will forever love, honor and defend her.
I praise the Lord Almighty and His Son Jesus Christ and am thankful that He smiled upon me and allowed me the great honor and privilege of being my Mother's son.
Mom, may the Lord keep you safe under the shadow of His wings and love you until I see you again.
I will Always love you. I will never stop. You are in my heart Forever.
I love you Mom.
Your Son, Your Firstborn
