Mrs. Sarah Linda Livingston Jones, age 69 of Sharpsburg, GA passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, James P. Jones, Jr. She is survived by her son, Mike Jones and wife, Diane of Newnan, GA; daughter, Christy Bennett and husband, Marvin of Sharpsburg, GA; grandchildren, Daniel and Katie Jones, and Ashlynn Bennett. A funeral service will be held at East Newnan Baptist Church in Newnan, GA on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10:00 am with Rev. Frank Powers officiating. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, GA. Visitation will be held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southwest Christian Hospice in Union City, GA. Arrangements under the direction of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, GA.
