Mrs. Marion Johnson Stephens

Marion graduated from Columbus High School in 1961. She held many jobs throughout her career. One was as a Real Estate Agent for a mortgage company, for Circuit One as a manager, and she was co-owner of "The Beach Club" with her husband.

Marion loved to travel all over, she loved to shop, loved animals, loved the beach, loved Johnny Cash and Elvis, loved a good glass of wine, loved getting together with her friends, but most of all, she adored and loved her family over everything else.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Herman A. “Sonny” Stephens; her loving sons, William H. Stephens (Laura) and Robert Todd Stephens (Melissa); her beloved grandchildren, Donald Stephens, David Stephens, Phillip Stephens, and Tollam Stephens; and step-grandson, Johnathan Wynn.

A Visitation for Marion will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory, 135 Senoia Rd, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 135 Senoia Rd, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269. Interment to follow the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens, 2090 Hwy 54 W, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269.
