

He leaves his son of 61 years, Timothy Robert Graham and his daughter-in-law Marsha Graham; his granddaughter Stephanie Graham Sisk, her husband Ted Sisk and their three children, Kade, Lark and Tucker; and his granddaughter Melissa Graham Edwards and her husband David Edwards.
Born on Christmas day in 1924 and raised in Alton, Illinois, the son of William Graham and Mary Eunice (Caywood) Graham. At the age of 19, in April of 1943, he entered the United States Army Air Corps. He served as a radio operator, mechanic and gunner on the B-26 Marauder in World War II and was Staff Sergeant in the 443rd Bombardment Squadron, 320th Bombardment Group. He was overseas for one year and his missions took him to Casablanca, Corsica, France and Italy. He returned to Alton in late 1945 where he completed his Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Louis University. In November of 1947 he married Dorothy Welsh and was the owner/operator of the Broadway Service Station in Alton. His first son, Stephen James, was born in February of 1949 and his second son, Timothy Robert, in May of 1954. He began a career with Owens-Illinois Glass Company in the accounting department where he eventually retired. After retirement, he spent most of his time volunteering with the Atlanta Foodbank, The National Archives and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
