Steven "Steve" G. Chapman, age 84, passed away on December 14, 2025, in Fayetteville, Georgia. Born in Ashtabula, Ohio, Steve was the beloved son of the late Catherine and Emerson Chapman.
A man of many passions, including fondness for dance, motorcycles, and karate and he will be sorely missed by many. Steve will also be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and his giving attitude.
Steve was preceded in death by his former wife, Edna Wilson Chapman.
He is survived by his wife, Shuqiu Chapman. His legacy lives on through his three sons, Steven, Brian, and Mark, and his sister, Carol Vrancik. He was a devoted grandfather to Ashley, Blake, Madison, Mark, Katherine, Kira, and Benjamin, and a proud great-grandfather to Aiden, Gabriel, and Riley.
A visitation will be held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 135 Senoia Road, Peachtree City, GA, 30269, United States. The visitation is scheduled for December 21, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
