Travis Weyman Jones, Sr., 91, of Hampton, GA passed away at home on November 15, 2010 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Rowe Jones; 9 children; 28 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and his sister, Geraldine Stone. He served as a pilot in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. After his discharge, he founded Minton Jones Office Supply Company in 1946 and also served as president of the East Point Rotary Club. There will be visitation at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, GA on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. followed immediately by the funeral service in the chapel. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, GA.
