Winston Robert Ferguson was born in the Parish of Saint Ann, Jamaica West Indies on May 14, 1926. He was the second of six children born to Arthur and Leila Ferguson. Winston passed away on March 18, 2017 at 4pm.
He was married to Minnis Aldith Morrison and later to Violet Fera , both proceeded him in death. Winston had one son: Errol, Daughter-in-law Dorothy; Grandchildren – Phillip and wife Eva, Jacqueline, Gairy and wife Connie, Brian; Great grandchildren: Morgan, Taylor and Kayla.
He was affectionately known to friends as Fergie. He was baptized on April 19, 1948 and served Jehovah faithfully for 70 years. He served as a regular pioneer and congregation elder for many years. He enjoyed sharing the good news of God’s Kingdom and had a strong faith in God’s promise of a new world free of sickness, pain and death.
One of his favorite saying to the family that we will always remember was, “if you serve Jehovah and stick close to him, you will have a feather in your cap".
