Mrs. Bennie J. Boyd, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Central MS Medical Center. Visitation will be from 11AM - 1PM Monday, October 21, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be at 1PM in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Lakewood South Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred S. Boyd; son, Edward Sumrall; step-son, James Boyd; brother, Herman Pinter; and sister, Patricia Gail Pinter.
She is survived by her sons, Chris and David Sumrall; step-sons, Jimmy and Gregg Boyd; daughters, Sheila Headrick, Linda Gifford and Tammie Hatch; step-daughters, Debra Boyd-Hayes and Annette Branch; brothers, Melvin, Kennith, Wayne, Charles and Ricky Pinter; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
