Betty Jean Chambers

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Monday, October 28, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 2:00pm, Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

She was born Tuesday, August 15, 1933 in Jackson, Mississippi, a daughter of the late William E. and Myrtle Wilson.

Mrs. Chamber retired from General Electric after several years of service as an inspector. Her hobbies including gardening and a love for growing flowers and her favorite times were spent with her family, espceially her grandchildren and great-grandchidlren. A kind and generous spirit, she was an avid supporter of disabled veterans and the Billy Graham Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge R. Chambers, Sr. and son, Clifton Edward Chambers.

Survivors include son, Ross Chambers and wife Linda; daughter, Tina Roberts; brothers, Jessie, Jimmy, James and Roy Wilson; sister, Sadie Odom; grandchildren, Jared Chambers, Jami Watson, Lindsey Johnson, Justin Roberts and Stacy Tebo; and great-grandchildren, Connor Watson, Macie Watson, Clint Roberts, Helen Grace Roberts, Hunner McLendon, Brannon McLendon, Haylee Johnson and Ally Johnson.
