Billie Margaret Mason Dukes

Billie Margaret Mason Dukes, 88, passed away Sunday, August 24 in Panama City, Florida. Visitation will be from 10am – 11am Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, with funeral services at 11am. A graveside service will be held at 1pm at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall.

Mrs. Dukes had been a long time resident of Flowood until she moved to Florida to live with Sherry. She recently had been a resident of Glen Cove Nursing Pavilion and was in Covenant Hospice care when she passed away.

Mrs. Dukes was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Milton Dukes; daughter; Reba Slater; and son, Anthony "Bud" Dukes.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Dianne Douglas (Gerald); grandchildren, Richard, Wayne, and Suzanne Cook, Douglas Gatewood, Kimberley Slater, Brian and Nathan Douglas, Michael, Amanda, and John-Austin Dukes. Mrs. Dukes was blessed with 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great

grandchildren.
