Bonnie Lee Wilson Knox, 75, passed from this life Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Compere’s Nursing Home in Jackson. The family will receive friends Monday, October 25, 2010, 1:00-2:00pm, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Memorial services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
Mrs. Knox was born January 1, 1935 in Lake City, Arkansas, a daughter of the late James Elmer Hopkins and Agnes Butts Hopkins Hope. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was employed for many years as a waitress and factory worker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Knox; brothers, Jack, Ralph and Roy Hopkins; and sister, Ruth Rigdell.
Survivors include sons, Rev. Stephen Sance, Jerry Ray Sance, John Wilson and Benjamin Wilson; daughter, Deborah Estrada; sisters, Dolly Berens, Betty James, Maxine Kelly, Nellie Shortnacy and Phyllis Samonie; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
