Visitation will be from 2pm - 4pm Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday in the funeral home chapel with interment at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Charlie was born July 4, 1929 in Marion County, TN. He retired from the National Weather Service after 37 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Emma Ridge (McHone); sister, Barbara Ann; and brothers, Jimmy Dale Ridge and David Michael Ridge.
Charlie is survived by his cherished wife of 64 years, Julia Ridge; daughters, Jackie Boteler (Vernon) and Kay Monahan (Bobby); seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a multitude of friends; numerous cousins and extended family.
