

RICHLAND, MS
Mr. Clarence E. “Pepaw” Ivey, Jr., 84, passed away August 13, 2011 at his residence. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Florence City Cemetery. Visitation will be at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl on Tuesday from 9-10 AM.
A 1949 graduate of MS State University, Mr. Ivey was a retired accountant having worked in the Jackson area for a number of years. He was a charter member of Cleary Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon. He was a member and 32 degree Mason at the Evening Star Lodge and was a Shriner. Mr. Ivey was an avid fisherman and hunter and was a member of the Stag Hunting Club in Fayette, MS.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Broome Ivey; daughters, Jean Ivey Stribling (James)and Lynn Blair (James); brother-in-law, Francis Broome, all of Richland; grandchildren, Michael Mounce(Cindy), Laura Phillips and Amanda Schmitz; great grandchildren, Trace Phillips, Kadence Schmitz and Emily Mounce.
The family wishes to thank Stay Home Hospice for the loving care shown to them under the direction of Dr. James D. Polk, Mary, Mia, Rita, Jennifer, Allen and Rhonda.
