The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm that same day at Holly Grove Cemetery in Braxton.
He was born on July 20, 1939 to the late Curtis and Myrtle May. Curvin was a longtime member at McLaurin Heights Baptist Church in Pearl. He was a member of the Exchange Club in Pearl and worked at Equifax as an investigator for over 30 years until he retired. Curvin also served as a reserve officer at the Pearl Police Department. His other career endeavors included private investigator. Curvin was one to keep himself busy, but in his free time he enjoyed going to church and spending time with his family. Curvin was especially known as the family caretaker and tended faithfully to his son, Michael Keith May, until his passing in 2021.
In addition to his parents and his son, he was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Curvin is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sue Different May; son, Richard May (Mandy); and grandchildren, Carson and Cooper May.
