Daniel "Danny" Ashley

Danny was retired from the State of Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barnes Earl Ashley and Norma Fae Ashley; and sisters, Rita Ashley Powers and Fae Nell Ashley.

He is survived by his brother, James Earl Ashley and wife, Mildred; and sister, Patsy Ann Carter. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many special friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 2pm -5pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10am Monday in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery, Crystal Springs, MS.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rory M. Dill and Dr. Greg Belser for officiating his services. Danny was loved by his nieces, Pam Johnson (Ronnie), Teressa Fitzhugh (deceased), Cindy Lewis (Bob), Lisa Fears (Ron), Becky Chapman (Clark), Denise Murphy (Robert) and Sonia Wheat (Hank); nephews, David Ashley, Keith Ashley (Pat), Vince Bishop (Kim), Lester Earl Carter (deceased) (Jewel) and Jimmy Carter (Kim); fourteen great nieces, fourteen great nephews, fifteen great-great nieces and fifteen great-great nephews.
