Visitation will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Ernie wore many titles: Dad, brother, son, Pap and friend. He enjoyed spending his days with family. He liked fishing, hunting, golfing, the casino and just taking the girls to get an Icee. He was very dedicated to his job at Custom Creations and loved the people he worked with. He will be dearly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Slawson; father, Earl Slawson, Sr.; and sister, Sharon Slawson Day. Survivors include sons, Josh Slawson (Cindy), and Johnathan Slawson (Christie); daughter, Jami Paul (Aaron); and grandchildren, Brandon, Vada, Kaleb (Kaylee), Malloree, Grace, and Kasen.
