Eunice H. Wade

Hazel Eunice Howell Wade departed from her earthly home of 83 years on Saturday, May 14, 2016 to go to her eternal home prepared for her by Jesus. As stated in II Timothy 4:6-8 she is now ready to be offered, and the time of her departure is at hand. She fought a good fight, finished her course, kept the faith and there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness, which the Lord will give her.

Eunice was employed by the Mississippi State Department of Health for approximately 23 years, retiring in 1989. She was a faithful member of Skyway Hills Baptist Church for 40 plus years where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School to the Junior High Sunday School class.

Eunice leaves behind her husband, James "Jim" V. Wade, Sr.; son, Vernon Wade and wife, Dianne; daughter, Pam Lott and husband, Dewayne; sisters, Inez Purvis and husband, Hugh, Betty Cumberland, and Bertie Peden and husband, W.D.; grandchildren, Daniel Wade and wife, Sarah, Brandi Gant and husband, Chase, Chris Lott, and Ryan Lott; and two great-grandchildren, Austin Gant and Andrew Wade.

Visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2016 from 5pm-8pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with visitation from 1pm - 2pm. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
