A "come and go" Celebration of Life for Kenny will be held from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.
Kenny was born on July 6, 1960 in Montgomery, Alabama. He worked for many years at Cycle Service Plus in Pearl as a parts manager. Kenny was an avid motorcycle fan and New Orleans Saints fan. He also enjoyed racing of any kind. In addition, Kenny was a Freemason. Most importantly though, he was a family man who cherished his loved ones and spending time together with them; however, Kenny was known to especially dote on his grandkids. He never met a stranger and to know him was definitely to love him. Everyone that knew him loved him, and he loved them in return. Kenny was truly a blessing to know and will be so dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy Herrington and Eleanor Jewel Edwards Herrington; his biological mother, Betty Whalen; and brother, James "Woody" Daniel Herrington.
Kenny is survived by his endearing wife of 29 years, Nancy Herrington; children, Adam Herrington (Shameka), Brooke Ward (Matt), Rick Renfro, Patrick Renfro (Michelle), and Shonda Johnson (Chris); sister, Tina Whaley (Mike); brother-in-law, Lynn Segrest (Carla); 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
