Visitation will be held at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home, Pearl, MS, Friday, April 7th from 5-8pm and Saturday, April 8th at 9am followed by services at 10am in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery.
Gladys was born March 22, 1934 in Jackson, MS. Her family later moved to Richland where she and her husband purchased their first home and resided there for 64 years, raising their children. Her biggest pride was sewing for herself, her daughter and grandchildren. She made and altered most of her clothes because her arms and legs were so short. She always loved learning and making new crafts and teaching crafting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sharing them with others. Gladys had a great love for animals and plants in her yard.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Erett and Walter Westerfield, her brothers, Thomas E Westerfield, Sr., Walter T Westerfield, Jr., Curtis L Westerfield, sister Lillian W Harper and sister-in-love Lilly Westerfield.
Gladys is survived by her loving husband Bobby Joe Jordan Sr., son Bobby Joe Jordan Jr of Richland, daughter Jennifer (Farrion) Thurman all of Richland and her brother Jimmy (Joan) Westerfield of Florence.
